Haven't been updating for a while...

Here's some of the work I've done in the past few months.

Flamenco dancer

Drawings from the last life drawing class of the term last week.
I could only stay for 15 minutes so only managed to do a couple of quick sketches.
This was the first time I had a female model in sometime, so I really wished I could have stayed for longer:/

Costume & Portrait

Pictures from today's Costume Portrait Day, an event organised by the UAL Life Drawing Society & ASEAN Society.

Sold two of my drawings. Thanks for supporting:)

It was really fun getting dressed up and doing some quick sketches. Will definitely be going again.

Assessment in a day. And exhibition in a week.

S-S-S

Haven't blogged for a while.
[ New Year Resolution - FAIL :( ]

Went to Selfridges for Sophie Stephens's life drawing session today.

Here are some of the drawings I did:

I began with a more descriptive and realistic approach, then I gradually simplified my lines and made them look more fashion-illustration-like.

It was fun. I did at a point want to go into fashion illustration.

Got some advice from Sophie on how to get into the industry - be proactive and just do everything and anything that might catch the attention of magazine editors/fashion designers/critics!

Getting known is way more important than getting a first in your degree.

I will try to finish my website by the start of next week and get back into my blogging routine.
