This was my second time in the city, but in the last two days of the trip I was left on my own, which was my first time in a city where I don't speak the language. I was a bit worried at first but it turned out really nice.
Sometimes I feel that I can only connect to a place when I am alone. I do enjoy travelling with friends and having company, but travelling by myself is just a completely different experience. It feels quite spiritual.
